PROJECT 1B: ORTHOGRAPHIC DRAWING OF A FURNITURE
Introduction
Orthographic Projection gives us a very clear method of communicating ideas and objects. It is a method that every engineer in the world recognizes. Because of this, we can reproduce any object drawn Orthographically and it is very important to us.
Tasks
In this assignment, we are required to produce a orthographic drawing with different perspective. We are allowed to choose any furniture in our campus and we chose slipper chair that could be found anywhere in the campus. We chose it because it has simple and clean design which looks nice in orthographic drawing. We are required to measure the size on ourselves and transfer to an A2 board with accurate scaling. It is a group work.
final outcome
Throughout this assignment, I realized that group work is really important as we need to distribute the work equally to produce a good quality outcome. By this, each of us are able to contribute to the team and make sure a good team relationship. I also learned the important of producing a orthographic drawing as it would allow us to understand more on certain things by interpreting it with more details.
